Thesis Title: A Hybrid Autonomic Operating-System-Like Service Architecture to Reduce IT Troubleshooting

About

Welcome to my webpage.  I have earned my PhD degree in Information Technologies and Communications at ITESM Monterrey Campus.  I am always interested in exploring new and more challenging activities where I can make use of my skills and knowledge, so you can take a look at my CV for more information about me and my research experience.
I am interested in improving the way large computing systems are managed, and how such administration could be improved by using machine learning and evolutionary algorithms.  My dissertation deals with such problem and proposes an architecture that provides an operating-like service that reduces troubleshooting by following the autonomic computing paradigm.
Besides my research-related activities, I enjoy jogging, swimming, reading novels (mostly suspense) and listening to music (I really listen to all kinds of music but there are some I do not like very much).
If you happen to have the same research interests that I do, do not hesitate and contact me.  Who knows?  We may end up finding and doing something interesting.
